Biblical Ministries Worldwide Family: Jonathan, Andrew, Anna, James UpdateDear friends,
Today I was thinking about several things and one of them was thatI am constantly amazed and encouraged by the faithfulness and generosity of God's people. In these days of real economic hardship, not one of our 36 supporting churches or our other individual supporters (15 of them) has written or indicated in any way that they are financially unable to continue supporting the work here in Hong Kong. In fact, as far as I can tell, not one of our supporters has even failed once to send their support. In addition, just recently one of my students in the Bible Institiute was very kind. My glasses broke a couple weeks and I have holding them together with tape and a strap around the back of my head for two reasons. We have had a lot of extra expenses and have jsut not been able to go get them. My student saw my situation and recently gave me $130 US to help me get new glasses, though I never said a thing about it. To see the people of God constantly loving each other like our supporters and that student do is really an encouraging thing when in trial. Thank you all. Pray for the young retarded man that is in the bed next to Dad. Nola shared some truth and a tract with him a couple times and today I shared the gospel with him at length. He gets out of the hospital on Sunday. I hope he can understand enough to get saved before he leaves. Also continue to pray that the Lord would be glorified by Dad's hospitalization. Many of the hospital workers have expressed that they can see a difference in how we take care of Nola's Dad and we have tried to always give God the glory. Pray for that. Pray also for the ladies in our ladies Bible study on Friday. They seem to be not as available as previously. Pray for Meidy and Sue to get saved. Thanks. Love in Christ, Roger and Nola Perrott Prayer Requests
