Baptism is a symbolic identification with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. It is a testimony to the world, family, friends and the church that one has put a personal trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. Baptism is not a means to salvation–salvation is by grace alone through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In becoming a member of the church, we make visible our commitment to Christ and His people. It is a means of showing one’s commitment to the leaders of the church and its members in regular attendance, giving, prayer, and service to the body of Christ faithfully and prayerfully.

Our benevolence ministry encourages a spirit of compassion and caring for those within our church body and outward to our community. We want to provide an opportunity for the church to be God’s channel of blessing to those in need.
Our goal as a church is to help develop leaders who are trained for full-time ministry so that the Word of God continues to be delivered accurately and faithfully. One of the ways we would like to do this is by supplementing student tuition for Bible college or seminary to help support the next generation preparing for Christian ministry.
